Hayley Shares Top Tips for Supporting Your Mental Health With MS
Managing your mental health alongside a physical health condition or disability is rarely straightforward. This month to celebrate MS Awareness Week and upcoming Mental Health Awareness month we spoke to Hayley @my_sassability about her top tips for looking after your mental health whilst living with MS.
Tip 1
Provide yourself with the supports you need to carry out daily tasks, eg mobility aids!! Style them with your outfits and have fun with them

Tip 2
Take breaks from social media, comparison is often overwhelming and is the thief of your own joy. Focus on your own world for a while & pamper yourself!
Tip 3
Find a hobby you enjoy, attending fun events or doing activities can really lift your mood. It truly helps having a break from the mundane everyday life tasks. Painting, drawing, dancing, singing - there is so much you can still do to bring joy!
Tip 4
Connect with others in a similar situation or who have a similar diagnosis and open up about how you feel. You'll be surprised to hear how many feel the exact same! Try not to carry your diagnosis burden by yourself.
Tip 5
Try to accept the situation for what it is and be kinder to yourself. See it as a different period in your life, not necessarily a bad one. Bad days don't always mean a bad life. There is still so much joy to be found!
